We are pleased to announce the winner of #PicMonkeyThnx, Christy Krampert. This lovely photo of her young son moved us. Congratulations, Christy, and enjoy your free year of Royale! And thanks to all who participated.

In honor of the upcoming US Thanksgiving holiday, we’re launching PicMonkey’s I’m Thankful Photo Contest. Post your photos with the hashtag #PicMonkeyThnx from now until November 19th, and we’ll choose a winner who will receive a year of PicMonkey Royale.

The Monkey is psyched about this because it gave him one more reason to take a photo of his elbows, which he’s particularly thankful for since they saved him from a life-threatening accident involving hair gel and a reverse-flow vacuum hose. We’re not sharing the elbows photo (eiw!), but look for PicMonkey staffer pics throughout the month on our Twitter feed, Google+, Tumblr, Flickr, and Facebook pages.

To enter the contest, take a photo of something you’re thankful for and post it to your favorite social outlet with the hashtag #PicMonkeyThnx. (If you’re posting to Facebook, make sure your privacy settings will allow us to see your photo). If you’d like, say a few brief words in your post about how your photo relates to the theme of thankfulness. We’ll be looking for your entry on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, Muzy, WeHeartIt, Pinterest, and Google+. The winner will be announced on November 21st, and can enjoy editing with a new Royale subscription for a year afterward!

The short ’n sweet:

  • Contest starts 11/5
  • Hashtag pics #PicMonkeyThnx and share
  • Contest ends 11/19
  • Winner announced 11/21
  • Prize: a year of free Royale!
