I'm getting a "Hindenburg-huge" error message
When importing images, you might get a notification informing you that PicMonkey needs to resize your image. This happens when the image you are importing exceeds the maximum resolution that PicMonkey is able to support (currently 16 megapixels).
To continue editing click the Resize & Open button.
The image will be resized according to the pixel dimensions (resolution) specified in the Image Settings dialog. These settings are accessed via the gear icon at the top of the editor.
The default image resolution is 7 megapixels. This is a great size for sharing great quality images. If you plan on printing, or if maintaining large image size is important to you, you have two options.
The first is to just hit the undo button immediately after importing your image: this will set the size to the maximum resolution.
If you always want the maximum size possible click the settings gear icon to pop open the Image Settings.
Set the Image Quality to King Kong and save. Working with King Kong files may slow editing... if so, you'll see a suggestion that you reduce the size. To stop seeing these suggestions, uncheck "Let me know when I should change image settings to improve performance."
