Microsoft Edge comes with its own version of Flash, so you never need to install Flash for Edge. If you’ve already done so, you’ll need to uninstall it. However, it’s more likely that either Edge is out of date, or Flash is disabled or set to “Click to Play.” If you’re having trouble loading your images in PicMonkey, here are a few things you should try:
Windows automatic updates should keep Edge up to date for you. If you haven’t updated Windows to the most recent version, that’s where you should start. You can also download Edge directly from Microsoft to ensure you have the most recent version.
If Flash is disabled, PicMonkey cannot start. To enable Flash in Edge:
- Select the icon displaying 3 horizontal dots in the top right of Edge
- Select Settings
- Scroll down and click “View advanced settings“.
- Locate “Use Adobe Flash Player” near the top and slide it On.
Uninstall other versions of Flash
If you’ve previously installed Flash on your computer, download and run Adobe’s uninstall utility for Windows.
