Sneak Peek at Summer Content

Summer’s here, humans, and we DESERVE it! We deserve twiddling our toes in dune grass, slurping down cool lemonade, and staying outside all day long because chores can wait for a cruddy day. So let your photos and graphics in on the summer fun. Here’s a sneak peek at what PicMonkey’s got in store for you, next week.

Look up! Look across!

We’ve got textures to spruce up your skies and horizons: Fluffy and bright Cloud textures, and Water textures so shimmery and glinty, you could just fall into them. Change the scene, layer them behind a person or stretch them over your outdoor shots to spruce them up and make them pop. And — you asked for ‘em, folks — take a peek at our clean, modern new fonts: Geo Sans Light, Poetsen One, RNS Camelia, Ultra, and Mossy.

Sea-faring overlays like anchors, ship’s wheels, and rope circles will suffuse your traveling stories with a salty breeze. They’re Nautical overlays, in the General group, atop the menu. And if you’re getting jazzed for Fourth of July, let an ecstatic burst of Fireworks overlays explode onto your photos. Find them in the Elements group.

If your summer photo and design work has you looking forward to looking backward, you’ll dig the vintage charm of our Postal overlays. Stamp cancels, air mail graphics, and distressed graphics say “antique postcard” better than your grandma’s photo stash could.

Finally, a bit of whimsy comes in dizzying spiral graphic madness. Spirograph overlays recall the class drawing toy we named them after, and we can’t wait to see the banner graphics, craft projects, and photos you use them with.

Come to PicMonkey next week, when the summer content launches. And bring a lawn chair; you’re gonna want to stay all day.
